Join us for our annual Kingston fundraising event in Kingston’s own Tett Centre as we learn more about the work of BethanyKids amidst the lives of some of the most marginalized children across Africa. This year in addition to our two afternoon sittings we have added a special morning public lecture in honour of this former Queens Faculty member returning to town.

FEATURED SPEAKER

Dan Poenaru, CM, MD, PhD

Dan is a 2024 appointee to the Order of Canada. He serves as adjunct professor at McGill University in pediatric surgery. Prior to this he lived on the continent of Africa where he founded a-first-of-its-kind pan-African training program for pediatric surgeons.

Will Walker

Will has been a touring and recording musician over the years and hosted the live music for our 2023 event at the Tett Center. It’s a huge honour to have him join us for a second year.
