OUR LEADERSHIP
Our team stretches across 12 different countries, nine of which offer clinical care to children, and three of which help raise funds. The following are some of those leaders who help work across those different national boundaries to ensure we continue to serve as many children as possible.
Dr. Britney Grayson
Chief Medical Officer
Britney is a talented pediatric surgeon and holds a PhD in Microbiology and Immunology. In addition to overseeing our clinical work across 9 African countries, she serves as faculty for our pediatrics program in Kenya.
David Ng’ang’a
Country Director (Kenya)
David grew up in Kenya and has faithfully served BethanyKids in different capacities for 15 years. He has led our work in Kenya through a number of major transitions and continues to set a grounded and strategic vision for the future.
Dr. Frehun Ayele
Country Director (Ethiopia)
In addition to his adminstrative role in leading the work of BethanyKids in his home country of Ethiopia, Frehun was trained by BethanyKids as a pediatric surgeon and continues to provide life saving care to children from across the country.
Ivan Nuwagaba
Country Director (Uganda)
Ivan began working with BethanyKids as a physiotherapist and as a chaplain before taking on the role of country director in 2023. He leads one of our fastest growing programs on the continent, including our second ever training program for pediatric surgeons.
Lillian Gitau
Chief Operations Officer
Lillian began her work with BethanyKids leading our programatic expansion into a number of new countries and now gives oversight to our operations around the world ensuring we are able to accomplish our mission for years to come.
Peter Lublink
Chief Executive Officer
Working closely with our international board, Peter gives strategic direction to BethanyKids around the globe, frequently speaking in churches and at conferences on behalf of BethanyKids.
