Most 15-year-olds are usually not sure what they want to be when they grow up. But Joseph Ndung’u is sure he is going to be a pastor and bring people to God.
Joseph got saved in 2013, and though he used to go to church before, he never understood that he had to personally get saved until he attended one of the spiritual sessions with Francesca and really understood the need for him to get saved.
Joseph says that, although some people treat him differently, he is confident nothing is going to stop him from achieving his goal of becoming a pastor. Though his speech is not as clear, he is sure that he can still tell people about God. No matter how much time it takes.
In Mark 10, people were bringing little children to Jesus to touch them, but the disciples rebuked them. When Jesus saw this, he was offended. He said to them, “let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.”
Joseph’s dreams and hope is a good example on what salvation can do. In Mark 10, Jesus continued, “I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child, will never enter it.”
Joseph is a true believer that Christ is for him. He is blessed with wonderful parents, siblings and friends who love him. He does not take it for granted that he is in school and that he is a child of God.
